What global comments/suggestions did you find the best from your peers? Why? When I was listening to my peers when they gave me my feedback I thought the best feedback was about my thesis and when I needed to organize my sentences better. I thought it was helpful because when I write I sometimes get lost in the things I want to say and just start to ramble on, and this helped me and showed me which was important and what topics were going off of my main topic.
What were the best global comments/suggestions you offered your peers? Why? I think my better comments I left, was when I talked about adding information to the introduction paragraph instead of just adding it to one paragraph and kind of have a surprise when they wrote about it.
What important feedback/discussion points weren’t captured on the page that came up during your discussion? Be specific and reference your peers and their papers. You may benefit from looking back over the essays you peer reviewed.I think there was a good amount of things that weren’t captured on the pages because we didn’t get to read Maddies essay before hand. So that made our group have more conversation because we just read over her essay briefly so it made us have more conversation rather than just Makayla and I talking about our two essays.
What did you wish had come up looking back over your peer review comments?I think looking back at how my peers and I edited it seemed like we edited our papers rather good. None of us held back with things we needed to say, if anything we all said things that we all agreed on they said things that I knew I struggled with going into writing this paper.
How does this kind of peer review compare to peer review from high school?his peer edit was more laid back but more intense, we went about it in a different way than in high school. I like the idea of commenting on a paper and then talking about it to each other rather than in High School we just got a sheet of paper and wrote a few things down and that was that, and most of that stuff was grammar things.
